Currently on my workbench – a rhombicosidodecahedron

I have a Zome model of a rhombicosidodecahedron on my desk. This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful polyhedron. And it is the lamp I've wanted to make—even before I knew this shape—ever since I started creating these lamps.

I had been staring at this shape every night for several nights trying to understand it. I have books that tell me the angles and other essential facts of each of the common polyhedra, but something in me wants to know these shapes more intimately than that.
