Making a lamp - sanding the frame and kumiko

The frames of this series of lamps are made of 3/8" × 3/8" stock and the kumiko (the bit the paper is glued to) of 1/4" × 1/4" stock. After I rough cut the wood for thickness, I run each piece through a planer, and then sand it to a medium grit finish.
